Stretching along the valley at the northern end of Tyrol’s largest lake, the quiet village of Achenkirch is the perfect base for a week of walking.
Surrounded by the lush meadows and jagged peaks of the Rofan and Karwendel mountain ranges, the walking trails throughout the area are plentiful.
With such a great variety of walks on this trip around Austria's lakes and mountains, two grades are offered each day (moderate and challenging) with one leader escorting each grade.
