Daily care of our horses is received from myself, daughter Elizabeth, son Tyler and my husband Lane. We run entirely on volunteer help and donations and it is thanks to our wonderful base of volunteers that our mission is possible.

Along with the cost is the time that is needed to not only care for the horses on a daily basis, but also all of those extra things like spending quality time with them so that they can trust humans again, medical care, and training so they can be placed placed in the proper homes.

Volunteering

Just a few hours a month can change a horses life, and maybe yours too.

We can not run this rescue without volunteers like you and you don't have to be a horse person to be able to help.  Along with hands on duties such as training, grooming feeding and barn help we are in constant need of administrative, clerical, website, photography, research and grant writing to name a few.

Our volunteers come in all ages and sizes.  Running a horse rescue is a lot of work and we can use all kinds of help.  We need folks from all walks of life and circumstances to join us in our effort.

If you want to volunteer, we can find a job for you.  The good news is that you don't have to give a huge time commitment to make a difference and there are things you can do even if you don't live in our area.
