Some of our students may be interested in doing volunteer work. This is an excellent way to do something worthwhile and rewarding, whilst at the same time practicing your newly acquired language skills, and strengthening your curriculum vitae or resume.
Voluntary work can be challenging but is a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. It combines very well with your language studies and you can more help people more effectively if you speak a little of their language. What better way to practice and develop your language skills than in the real life situations presented by volunteer work!
We are involved in many local projects – providing free school meals for children at a local school, visiting the residents at the local Old People’s Home, visiting the orphanage, distributing clothes and blankets to families in rural areas, etc.
We can arrange for you to volunteer locally, either during your language course (afternoons and/or weekends) or afterwards. Please contact us and we can arrange this to suit your requirements.
