FSD is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 to support underserved communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
We provide human and financial resources to more than 200 community-based organizations to build capacity and collaboratively implement solutions that address Microfinance, Health, Environment/Appropriate Technology, Youth and Education, Women's Empowerment, Human Rights, and Community Development.
Summer and longer term internships for anyone over 18 in the field of development in Bolivia, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador and Nicaragua. Except for Ecuador, volunteers must be able to converse in Spanish.
