Take up this once in a lifetime opportunity to experience living off the grid while helping with the daily tasks at our Husky Ranch USA Project. As a volunteer, you’ll mostly be involved in; caring, grooming and dog-sledging with the beautiful Huskies! This ranch promotes and actively maintains a kennel of traditional sled dogs including the Freight Alaskan Husky and Hedlund Husky.
Though this may be an awesome opportunity to get away from the bustling city life, it is important to take into consideration that this project is remotely located, well away from any towns. If this is okay, then come join us for an adventurous volunteering experience! You will have many opportunities to dogsled during the winter and of course play /care for the huskies! The main activity is dog-sledging and mushing while caring for the dogs. The minimum duration of stay is 12 weeks with a maximum duration of 9 months. This will definitely be one to remember!

Your main tasks will mainly consist out of the following but are not limited to:
- You’ll be doing some Construction/maintenance & cleaning.
- You'll also be spending majority of the time with the Dogs. Grooming, caring and nurturing the dogs should be one of the main tasks! There's also lots of opportunities to go dog-sledging!
