Itinerary

Day 1 Adelaide
Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Quorn
Enjoy a wine tasting in the Clare Valley before travelling to the historic town of Quorn for the night.

Day 3 Beltana
Head to Wilpena Pound for a walk to a natural amphitheatre sacred to the Aboriginal Adnyamathana people. Learn about Aboriginal art and early settler history.

Day 4 William Creek
Travel along the Old Ghan Railway route. Visit an Aboriginal centre, and opt for a scenic flight over the great salt lake of Lake Eyre.

Day 5 Coober Pedy
Cross the Outback to the world's opal mining capital. After a guided tour of a mine, escape the heat by spending the night underground.

Day 6-7 Uluru
Experience the colourful sunset at Uluru and then bed down in a swag (canvas bedroll) or tent under the Outback sky. Enjoy the Mala Walk to learn the importance of Uluru to the Aborigines.

Day 8 Kings Creek
Hike through the beautiful Valley of the Winds in Kata Tjuta.

Day 9 Alice Springs
Enjoy the morning walk through the gorges and valleys of Kings Canyon of Watarrka NP.

Day 10 The Ghan Train
Travel in comfort on the famous Ghan Train. Glide through the remote Outback en route to the top end of Australia.

Day 11 Darwin
Stop at Katherine Gorge, and opt for a flat-bottomed boat trip or a walk before continuing on to Darwin.

Day 12 Darwin/Kakadu National Park 
Spot crocs on a boat cruise. Visit an Aboriginal crafts centre before continuing to Kakadu NP.

Day 13 Kakadu National Park/Litchfield National Park
Explore the waterfalls, swimming holes and trails of Kakadu—a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 14 Litchfield/Darwin
Guided excursion to Litchfield NP to encounter streams, rock formations and the impressive magnetic termite mounds. Tour ends upon arrival in Darwin in the evening. Please book onward travel after 9pm..
