Day 1 Lugo
Arrive at any time.
Days 2-6 Sarria/Portomarín/Palais do Rei/Melide/Aruza/Amenal
Over five days, follow the Camino de Santiago to its ultimate goal, the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela. The hike takes in tiny villages where the rustic, home-cooked food is a delicious accompaniment to the hike. Walk through rolling green hills, past churches and ruined towns, walking between 15-25km (9-15 mi) per day. Your "compostela" which will be stamped daily to authenticate your progress.
Day 7 Santiago de Compostela
The Camino journey reaches its dramatic conclusion in the morning as the final 14kms (8 mi) from Amenal into Santiago de Compostela are covered. Embrace the history and spirituality of this magnificent and important cathedral during mass and receive your "compostela", a document that certifies your journey. In the evening, enjoy this beautiful town and celebrate your achievement at one of the many local bars and restaurants.
Day 8 Santiago de Compostela
