Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Playa del Carmen
Opt to explore the Mayan ruins of Tulúm, or just play in the waves and enjoy the beach!

Day 3-5 Caye Caulker
Opt to snorkel with stingrays and nurse sharks at Hol Chan Marine Reserve, go diving or sip cocktails at the Split.

Day 6-7 San Ignacio
Free day to go caving, visit sacred Mayan cave Actun Tunichil Muknal or check out the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich.

Day 8-10 Flores/Tikal/Rio Dulce
Included guided tour of Tikal before travelling to central Guatemala. Opt to visit the coastal town of Livingston by boat or soak in a hot waterfall.

Day 11-12 Antigua
Orientation walk along Antigua's cobblestone streets, then free time to explore this colonial town.

Day 13-14 Panajachel/Lake Atitlán homestay
Travel to beautiful Lake Atitlán and enjoy the views. Embark on a boat ride across the lake before participating in a Planeterra-supported homestay with a local family. Bargain for vibrant textiles and paintings at the lake's many villages.

Day 15-16 Antigua
Enjoy an included group salsa dancing lesson, then practice some fancy footwork on a night out on the town.

Day 17-18 Copán
Opt to visit the Mayan ruins of Copán or soak in local hot springs.

Day 19-21 Roatan
Free time for snorkelling, scuba diving or relaxing on the beach.

Day 22 León
Skip a long bus ride and fly in style to Managua, then continue overland to politically progressive León, Nicaragua.

Day 23-24 Granada
Orientation walk to explore colonial Granada. Opt to visit still-active Masaya Volcano, or kayak the isletas in Lake Nicaragua.

Day 25-26 Ometepe
Get to know local friends during a 2-night Planeterra-supported homestay experience on Ometepe. Try the cuisine, test out some language skills. Opt to climb a volcano or visit the local swimming hole.

Day 27-28 Monteverde
Opt to visit a cloud forest reserve, fly through the jungle canopy via zipline or tour a coffee plantation.

Day 29-30 La Fortuna
Opt to soak in Arenal Volcano's hot springs or get the adrenaline pumping with whitewater rafting or waterfall rappelling.

Day 31 San José
Travel to Costa Rica's capital for one final night with the group.
