We meet you at San Jose International Airport and transfer you to our base. Gapforce staff will undertake your Welcome and Safety briefing. You will then be allocated to an English speaking coastal clinic by our base, working with dedicated medical staff for a either a morning or afternoon shift.
No medical experience is needed, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and help out is a must! It’s not all work, as you are based on the coast we include one to one surf lessons!
The Pacific coast of Costa Rica is an ideal surf location, with great waves and hot sun; this is the best way for newbie’s to learn to surf or those with some experience to develop their style. After working a full morning or afternoon session in the clinic, surfing and chilling on the beach is the ideal way to relax after work.
