In 2006 we had the vision of creating a third level business college in Munich that combines the Irish and German approaches to education. The dream back then was to develop students who can combine the science and art of business. So graduates, who in addition to their formal academic qualifications, have the ability to think on their feet, operate in dynamic environments, have great people skills, communication abilities and are driven by a growth mind-set.

That vision has materialised into a college that is filled with individual students who benefit every day from a unique educational approach. This uniqueness comes from the fact that at the core of everything we do is a relationship model that puts the individual at the centre.

Our Academic Programmes:

BA (Hons) in Business Studies Degree:

A three year fully accredited Bachelor degree programme

  • Ideally suited to individuals who want a practical, unique approach to studying business
  • 8000 Euros per semester (two semesters per year
  • 380 Euros application fee
  • Average IB grade accepted is 30 points, or mid-range for those taking the Abitur, which must include maths and a language
  • This degree is accredited by the Irish government (see www.qqi.ie) and has state acceptance in Germany

Bachelor Top-Up Programme:

  • This is an accredited flexible academic degree programme that gives an international perspective, combining two years at Globe College in Munich with the third and final year of the degree outside of Germany.  Click here to see the list of universities
  • Students who successfully complete the two years in Munich are awarded a Higher National Diploma (accredited by Pearson)
  • Ideally suited to students who would like to study business but do not have the required entry requirements for traditional university programmes in Germany or Europe
  • 8000 Euros per semester (two semesters per year
  • 380 Euros application fee
  • Students applying for this programme must have a recognised high school leaving certificate, for example a High School Diploma, IBCP, or Realschulabschluss (Mittlere Reife) 

Foundation Certificate in Business – the ideal gap year filler:

  • Designed to provide students with an understanding of key business subjects
  • Ideally suited to students who are taking a gap year, are looking for an introduction to studying Business, or those who are looking to gain credits to enhance their secondary school qualification
  • Option of completing two semesters in a year, or one stand-alone semester of 3 months
  • 8000 Euros per semester (one or two semesters per year). Students can also choose to complete less than the normal 5 subjects per term and prices varies accordingly – each subject costs 1600 Euros
  • 380 Euros application fee

Accreditation

All programmes are accredited and recognised in Europe and further afield. The BA (Hons) degree has state accreditation in Ireland (through QQI, the accrediting body of the Irish government) and is fully recognised in Germany. The Top-Up Business Bachelor programme is on the national framework of third level qualifications in England.
