The center organises educational and community activities to Palestinians to enhance their skills in various aspects. Through tutoring and educational programs, the center promotes unyielding support to Palestinian youth.
Go Palestine is a meeting point for all internationals who come from every corner of the world to immerse into the Palestinian culture and to become acquainted with Palestinian daily life. International interns and volunteers teach Palestinian youth about their own home cultures, thereby gaining valuable experience and knowledge for themselves. It is a true cultural exchange.
The center offers international volunteer and internship programs that are created to teach aspects of life in Palestine. These programs include topics such as media, law, refugees, culture, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Islamic culture, human rights, children’s issues, and education to name a few.
In addition, the center offers Arabic (Ammiya or MSA) intensive and non-intensive language courses commencing at the beginner level and culminating in an advanced course. These courses are taught by qualified teachers who are holders of academic degrees in Arabic literature.
The Center is located in the heart of Hebron on Ein Sarah Street (this section of the city is under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority). The Center has been host to myriads of people interning and volunteering with us, and who have traveled from many countries in the world to come to Hebron in order to share their skills, experience, knowledge, and cultures with Palestinian children and Hebron community members.
Our volunteers and interns overwhelmingly have enjoyed their experience and recommend the experience to others who are thinking about volunteering and interning. The Palestinian Center is fully equipped with high-speed wireless internet, three classrooms, computers, and a big kitchen.
