Small team to gather strawberries each morning for wholesale market. Your afternoons are free if you want to explore this lovely area. Just a few minutes walk to the Isle of Wight ferry and train links to London and the rest of the UK. We have a nine hole golf course and fun crazy golf, which is free to the farm staff. Lymington is a pretty market town famous for sailing and other water sports. We have bikes for the staff to borrow.
Accommodation is self contained static caravans and there is communal kitchen for social gatherings.
A small team up to 12 people for picking, couples and singles. The picking is in a covered poly tunnels and on benches so the picking is easy going. You work in pairs down through the poly tunnel gathering the strawberries into barrow with a tray and punnets. Training is given. When your tray is full they are gathered up with the others anld taken to the the packhouse in the farm yard to be weighed and packed.
We also have a pick your own side to the business with a small farm shop, strawberries, raspberries and cherries are grown on the farm for the public to come and pick between May and August, its a fun place to come for families. The picking team will keep the farm shop stocked with strawberries and any fruit thats in season.
