Green Light Ventures is a small company that is passionate about providing life changing experiences in Tanzania. Sustainability and ethical travel is at the centre of everything we do. We are a registered U.K. company that also partners with our sister company in Tanzania (GLV HUDUMA). As a team we our made up of company Directors, experienced Expedition Leaders, local Tanzanian wildlife and tour guides as well as directors of Safari companies and charities in Tanzania.
Our trips are aimed at 18s to 40s age range for solo, couples and groups. The trips are typically 12-days in duration and there is a choice of 2 trips currently. There are serveal trips dates to pick from throughout the year and as we grow we hope to have a trip going out once a month. We see the price and accommadtion as closer to the budget range but the service and in-country staff support and guidence is closer to the luxary end as on each trip depending on group size will have an Expedition Leader who works for GLV U.K. as well as our experinced Project Manager and in-incountry support from our GLV Tz Directors including 24-hour support from our GLV U.K. office team.
Our trips provide a broad, off-the-beaten-track experience and the best adventure, wildlife and culture that Tanzania has to offer. These include, Rift Valley waterfall and savannah wildlife walks, cycle rides to Lake Manyara, 4 x 4 game drive safaris to National parks, bush craft and survival skills in the Maasai Bush, swimming in hot springs and as well as many more activities. Our trips also delve deep into Tanzanian culture where our clients will learn KiMaasai and Kiswahili, enjoy hanging out at the local markets and get involved on our sustainable village tours learning about local agriculture, food and drink production. A key ingredient to all our trips is that our clients off set their carbon footprint by planting trees to reforest wildlife corridors with Maasai women and other local community groups that Green Light Ventures partner with. Ensuring our clients feel part of our local community as much as possible and not like a tourist is extremely important to us. We have fantastic reviews as seen on GoOverseas and on our website.
