Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront of clinical education and training. Delivered through one of London’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals, our expertise spans a wide range of specialties. We are proud to share our clinical knowledge and research with international health professionals, which is why we organise Visiting Professional Programmes that provide overseas professionals with the opportunity to have observerships and clinical attachments within many of our services.
Our programmes normally last from 4 weeks to 12 months and they can be tailored to meet the specific learning needs of those visiting the Trust. There is a fee per week which varies depending on the directorate, time period and whether the programme is hands on. The programmes are a great way for healthcare professionals to expand their current knowledge and to learn additional skills that can be transferred back to their place of work or study.
We currently have places in our Nursing Programmes, Paediatric Dermatology and Genetic Skin Diseases Programme, Dermatological Surgery and Laser Unit Programme, Pharmaceutical Programme and Therapies Programme.
A full list of programmes can be found on our website, along with details of what they include, or professionals may email enquiries.
