The mission of HAND-ROM is to initiate projects and programs through which the person with disabilities can influence his future and build his destiny.
HAND-ROM offers the target group a representative, stimulating civic dialogue, solidarity and social responsibility, forming leaders and community or regional initiative groups for the real rights and needs of people with disabilities, access to education, rehabilitation, vocational training, employment , the right to work in sheltered workshops and / or at home.
The organization has its own representative of civil society in the Social Economic Council of Romania, for the field of health and disability.
It developed through nondirectivism: not to give the child knowledge but only means to discover them, not to know anything from us, but only what he understood himself.
