ILA is Vietnam's leading English Language training organization. We have training centres around the country and are continuing to grow every year.
At ILA, there is a strong focus on helping teachers develop. Our dedicated academic management team ensures that ILA adheres to a high standard of academic quality. We provide ongoing teacher support, feedback, peer observations, and workshops to help our teachers meet their development goals. We have received numerous awards including platinum center status by Cambridge. We are accredited by NEAS, the largest accrediting body in the TESOL industry.
We provide opportunities to teachers that most ELT schools cannot offer. Our teachers can become senior teachers or IELTS examiners. We have positions in Product development, Academic Management, materials development, academic management, HR, or even CELTA/DELTA trainers. The possibilities are endless. Outside the classroom, ILA teachers enjoy social events throughout the year, so there are plenty of occasions to meet new people and settle into life in Vietnam. As well as this, additionally, there is the opportunity to be involved in volunteering with the local community through our Community Network.
Ho Chi Minh City is the main location for ILA schools, with centres spread around the city in different districts. From the biggest to the smallest, ILA schools are all professional centres with an enthusiastic group of teachers and staff dedicated to bringing quality English language teaching to students.
CELTA Courses
During the course, you will have 120 hours of contact in total. The course usually runs from Monday to Friday from 8.45am - 5.30pm. Outside of these contact hours, you can expect an additional workload of 3-4 hours each night and that at least 1 of your weekend days will be spent writing assignments and lesson plans. Because of this intensity, the course is a full-time commitment for each candidate, so working whilst doing the course is not recommended
