Trainees on our TEFL/TESOL course in Phoenix will complete their training in a busy language center that is ideally situated within walking distance of the main downtown area.

The center is also close to the city’s efficient public transport network, which means you are never more than a short journey away from all the attractions in the area. For trainees travelling to the course from outside the region, connections to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are quick and readily available.

Your time on the course will be spent in a modern language center that has multiple, well-equipped classrooms that are specifically designed for language learning. Our extensive facilities include lesson planning essentials such as Wi-Fi internet, a well-stocked resource library and access to a photocopier. We also provide complimentary refreshments during breaks in class, and you will find plenty of local amenities in the surrounding neighborhood.

Each course has a limited number of spaces to ensure that we provide every trainee with a sufficient level of individual support and assistance. Our course in Phoenix runs from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

About This Course

The combined TEFL course comprises of two elements of study: the first being online and the second being in-class study, training and teaching at our training center. The course offers the opportunity to study the theories of teaching from the comfort of your own home or office, at your own pace, from anywhere in the world, through the online component of the course and then the opportunity to put theory into practice through further training and teaching at one of our training locations.

The great advantage of this TEFL course is flexibility. The online component of the course allows you the time to absorb the theories of TEFL teaching. Attendance at one of our training centres then gives you the opportunity to put this theory into practice. The Combined TEFL course is ideal for those that do not cope well with, or do not perform to their full potential in intensive study programs. The Combined TEFL course requires only one or two weeks' attendance at one of our locations rather than the traditional four weeks.

You can complete the online component of the course over a period that is suitable for you. The online component can be completed in any period from two weeks to six months - depending on how quickly, or slowly you wish, or are able to work through the course. The online component of the course comes with full online tutor support.
