We host volunteers from all over the world in the beautiful Slovak countryside. We do care about international understanding, education, environment protection and of international and intergenerational exchange including those with special needs.

Joy’n’Work was created by volunteers for people who are eager to travel and contribute to the community, rural life, and environment they visit. Based on personal experience and enthusiasm, Joy’n’Work presents you with a careful selection of excellent yet affordable volunteer and ecological or art minded vacations.

Volunteer Support:

Every volunteer will receive a detailed manual, after he pays the participation fee. A coordinator will be with the volunteers during the whole project. During free days reasonable excursions will be offered. All participants can stay in touch with our organization also after the project ends. We welcome you back any time.

Volunteer Safety:

Slovakia is a Central European country that is a member of the European Union, its Schengen travel area, and the Euro zone. Some tourist facilities are not as developed as those found in Western Europe, particularly outside the major cities, and some goods and services common in other European countries are occasionally unavailable in Slovakia. The official language is Slovak; English is not widely spoken outside of tourist destinations.
