Our trips are ideal for people who are unable to take long periods of time away from work or home, but who are keen to contribute practically and internationally to communities in need. You can combine volunteering with an opportunity to sightsee in Uganda.
You choose between:
* our 12-day introductory trip with optional sight-seeing (for individuals or groups) at QENP
* one month or more volunteering
* a study tour to your specifications
* a combination of these
Kanaama, the home of this project, is a small community twenty miles north of the dynamic town of Mbarara. It lies in South West Uganda, amidst the rolling hills of the Ankole region. The holiday base there is Bahemuka House. Ankole culture
Start dates are by arrangement, but generally from the first Saturday in the month. Our arrangements exclude flights, though we can help with airport transfers.
Introductory Trip.
Costs for the Introductory Trip vary according to choices of hotel in Kampala, form of transport, and numbers for the QENP visit. The seven day Kanaama component of the Introductory Trip costs £300 inclusive of administrative charge and hosting fees to community organisations.

Travel by bus from Kampala to Kanaama costs an additional £21 each way.
