Two rivers meet in Szanazug. They are called the River Fehér-Körös and River Fekete-Körös. The name of the river downwards from here is Kettős-Körös.
These rivers flow slowly in summer because there is a dam holding back the water. On this tour you will paddle upstream (and downstream) on the River Fekete-Körös.
If the weather is good, we will visit the Romanian border and if the visibility is fine, you will be able to see the Transylvanian mountains. The dam next to Békés is a spectacular structure and is one of the highlights of the trip.
On this tour we use both kayaks and canoes and don't worry if you haven't paddled before, we are ready to help you to do this properly. Let's paddle together!
