Home adventure voluntary and community development project was established and became operational in 2006. The organization secretariat office is based at the international Youth Hostel on Ralph Bunch Rd Upper hill and our field office is based at the resource center in Wagusu village of central Sakwa location in Bondo District, Nyanza province where we run our programs.
We also offer support to community based organizations by sourcing and placement of international volunteers in order to help improve the lives of our people and make a difference in the lives of under privileged people. Most projects are open to volunteers regardless of their background and do not require any specific professional skills. At each project, volunteers from diverse backgrounds, countries, work and live together like a family.
The organization was formed with the aim of promoting the orphan child well-being and economic empowerment for girls and women both mentally and economically through education, counseling and community sensitization. With the increase of HIV infections, especially among communities living along the shores of L. Victoria, the organization work includes HIV/AIDS prevention education, care and support.
While being part of the community, our mission is to increase the participation of beneficiaries in the planning and implementation of their projects in order to achieve socio-economic development by establishing well defined structures of goodwill and participatory orientation.
