Program Specifics
- Location: Close to Ibarra and Puyo
- Accommodation: Volunteer accommodation + shared kitchen facilities
- Start Dates: Every Sunday all year round
- Duration: Minimum 2 weeks and longer placements are also available
- Eligibility: No previous experience is needed to apply and these programs are open to students, non-students and families. You will need an interest in wildlife to join and by applying this is a great way to gain practical hands on vet experience.
- Duties: On these programs you will be able to help contribute to wildlife protection, prevent poaching, work to help the rainforest and generally help with daily activities. Duties can very but generally include general maintenance, cleaning enclosures, collecting food and feeding animals, developing environmental / wildlife educational projects, rehabilitating and releasing animals back into the wild.
