Established in 2006, Lingua Education focuses on providing opportunities for foreign teachers of English and other languages and subjects, test preparation, business and vocational English, and corporate training. We have positions in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chendgu, Hangzhou and other cities across China; with public and private schools, training centers, one-on-one tutoring, and online teaching available.
For our “Standby Teacher” positions, we will sign a contract with our candidates by agreeing to terms on the working hours, salary, and other benefits. We will then begin the visa application process (generally takes around two months). Afterwards, our candidates will have interviews with multiple schools until both parties mutually agree to begin employment. The candidate will then arrive in Shanghai where they be provided with 5 days’ accommodation, proper orientation, and help getting settled into their new, exciting life in China.
