For healthcare students and professionals wanting to put their skills to the test and help those in need, this program will certainly be a wonderful experience.
Based in the historic Nicaraguan city of Granada, volunteers will work mainly in the outlying rural areas to provide support to its impoverished inhabitants. This health and medical program is designed for medical students and health professionals from diverse areas and backgrounds, to work in rural clinics helping patients who have very limited access to health services.
It is best suited to medical students, physiotherapists and those with a medical or health background. Volunteers on this crucial medical program will work alongside local doctors and nurses to treat different conditions and prevent health issues through education and care.
