With 3,500 children per annum on its programme, an employee base of over 50 and approximately 240 volunteers, the organisation is playing an important role in developmental work in children?s lives in India.

Magic Bus is an award winning NGO based in Mumbai that believes in child?s right to play (as declared by the UN). We use sport as a medium to work on overall development enabling girls and boys to realise their true potential. Magic Bus aims to create a new generation of youth empowered to take charge of their own communities and build a strong and aware society.

Since its inception in 1999, the organisation has reached out to over 18,000 children living in some of the most at risk and marginalised circumstances in the city. Magic Bus is the first organisation to bring the mission of sport for development into an Asian context and successfully found ways of working in partnership to address some key issues of development of young people.
