With the oyster bar's success and a further demand for more oysters, we have continued opening up new locations throughout the country. By selecting the best oysters from farms all over the world and building relationships with our growers, we ensure to bring the freshest shellfish to our guests.
Oysterlicious is China's premiere Oyster Bar Restaurant Group. Back in 2012, Oysterlicious opened China's first true oyster bar in Shanghai: The Plump Oyster. Our mission was simple: bring fresh oysters from all over the world to China on the half shell. While the country has consumed oysters for years, it hasn't been until more recently, that there has been much demand for raw oysters.
However, once people tasted these oysters, the demand skyrocketed. With the wild success of this restaurant, we have continued opening up more restaurants in cities throughout China. Currently, we have locations in Shanghai, Beijing, Fuzhou, Xiamen and are continuing to build our brand and open up more stores throughout the country. We have made a commitment to connecting with the farmers who grow our oysters, visiting the farms, to completely understand the product. This way we can ensure a quality product and are able to share the story of each oyster with our guests.
Our young and energetic staff is passionate about the work that we do. Everyone that is apart of our team is considered family and we do various company outings to ensue that we are maintaining a close connectiveness that allows us work cohesively.
What we bring is a unique approach to dining in China, and are trying to revolutionize the dining scene here by pushing the boundaries of what upscale dining means in China. No stuffy environment or white table cloths here! To us, its providing high quality products in a relaxed environment is what we aim to do. Our goal is to connect the oyster community and share our love of these delicious shellfish with the rest of Chia.
Our restaurants provide a relaxed environment where people are encouraged to be relaxed and enjoy good food and company. Our menus use local ingredients and are inspired by western style share plates.
