Parijat Academy is a non profit that provides holistic education to children from socio economically disadvantaged communities in the outskirts of Guwahati, Assam. We run two schools that cater to children from 10 tribal villages where access to education is limited. Currently over 350 students are receiving free education.
Parijat Academy in Pamohi village outside Guwahati is a 21 year old institution that takes students from nursery to grade 10 and offers accommodation to children from remote villages. Parijat Academy in Garbhanga, a remote village , is a day school that takes students from lower primary to grade four.
With a focus on the holistic development of children, we conduct both academic and non-academic programmes. We are focused on developing not just a love for learning among our children but also livelihood skills, interest in sports, health and fitness, appreciation for the arts, love for nature and civic consciousness.
