We do this by matching every individual volunteer to a specific project and placement – each volunteer has skills and experience that are needed somewhere, and are welcomed by local communities!

We arrange carefully-matched placements in Cambodia, Gambia, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Nepal, Peru, Saint Lucia, South Africa, Swaziland. Most of our volunteers work overseas for at least 4 weeks - sometimes up to 6 months - in safe surroundings and in partnership with local people. We also offer e-volunteering - the chance to volunteer from your own home.

We don't have employees in our host destinations - rather we work in partnership with local entrepreneurs, travel businesses and NGOs. These local partners are in and of their communities and understand what is needed by local people to build the futures that they want for themselves.

These local partnerships enable us to provide volunteers with plenty of information well before they travel - information about local culture and traditions, the project and their role, where they will stay, etc, and volunteers will also be able to talk with previous volunteers too.

We know that a well-prepared volunteer will be able to enjoy a truly rewarding and fulfilling placement - and will want to share their experiences with future volunteers. This is how each successive volunteer can build on the work of others.

Volunteers are able to fully share in local cultures and communities - getting to know and understand each other's similarities and differences, sharing all aspects of daily life. This makes for mutually rewarding volunteer placements - everyone is able to gain from the experience.
