Gap Year Internships for High School Leavers
While travelling is a great experience, many people see benefits in spending some of their year abroad engaging in activities that will improve their career and/or study prospects when they return home. An internship can easily be added to your travel plan and is an excellent opportunity to do something which will be recognised by potential future employers. International work experience is highly regarded by businesses and can also enhance your future college application.
What is a Gap Year?
A gap year usually involves taking some time off between finishing high school and starting university/college or joining the workforce. Many people choose to travel during this time and try different experiences before they make decisions about what to study or where to work.
Of course, there will also be plenty of time for fun! PPA can arrange day tours and weekend trips, and we host regular social nights where you can meet other interns and sample the local nightlife.

High school leavers who are eligible for the Working Holiday Visa for Australia.
Professional Internships for University Students and Graduates
Professional internships in Australia are unpaid practical workplace training placements, lasting from 4 weeks to 6 months, depending on your needs and your visa eligibility. We can arrange your internship in Australia to meet your university requirements. You will be allocated a dedicated placement consultant whose task it is to find the internship placement which meets your requirements.
Fields
Internships are available in most fields including advertising, marketing, finance, fashion, law, engineering, business admin, HR and much more.
Eligibility
Students need at least 1 year studies in the field and be eligible for the Working Holiday visa or the 416 visa.
