We are recruiting punting tour guides and are always on the lookout for very active, outgoing and enthusiastic persons to join our fabulous punting crew.

Cambridge attracts visitors from all over the world – and, if you love a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere you’ll love every moment here. Applicants should be enthusiastic, self motivated and willing to work within a small team environment. You will also be very physically active and enjoy working outdoors.

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent
  • Salary: £18.00-£25.00 per hour (tour) depending on experience and age.v

Requirements:

  • Are physically active and enjoy working outdoors
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have good availability to work on alternate weekends and Bank Holidays
  • Confident, reliable and self-motivated
  • Provide an unforgettable experience for all of our visitors
  • Give a constantly high quality service
  • Provide effective and courteous ticket sales
  • Maintain a safe working environment on and off the river
  • Have an excellent command of spoken English
  • Have a passion for history and a flair for sharing it with others
  • Have prior experience of working in a customer-facing role
  • A good knowledge of Cambridge
  • By law we are required to ensure that all our crew has a legal right to work in the UK

Your duties will vary from leading tours on the River Cam, to generating sales and dealing with queries, and setting up boats.
