We are an all-weather attraction, home to the Army Duck Rainforest tours on land and water, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience and the iconic Australian animals in the Koala & Wildlife Park.
Volunteer Program
Our volunteer program is designed to provide individuals with experience caring for wildlife and to provide them with the opportunity to give something back to the environment.
Your contribution is an important part of the teamwork process in providing care to our wildlife family at Rainforestation Nature Park.
If you participate in the program, you will spend about three days a week working at Rainforestation, one day at Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and one day at Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome.
You will experience our tropical region as a local – not just as a tourist. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle, meet fellow volunteers from around the world, and most importantly, you can form a genuine connection and make a positive impact in the community or environment in which you work.
