We are very used to having trainees thorugh IAEA (or latterly Agriventure) and we thoroughly enjoy having people from around the world as part of our family and working on our mixed farm.
We have a dairy farm and would ideally like a fairly experienced milker who can assist with the dairy operation on the farm. We are hoping to develop a new dairy early next year so also exciting times ahead.
In addition we also lamb 250 ewes in the Spring. We also have all the youngstock and a suckler herd.
The trainee would live in - in their own area of the house but as part of our family. We are also very involved with the local YFC which provides numerous social and sporting opportunities if required as well.
Devon is a beautiful county with loads to see and do from coast to moors and has easy access to the rest of the country as well.
