Refuge Egypt serves refugees, migrants and asylum seekers living in Egypt who have fled their original country of nationality due to war or disaster, and who have well founded fears of return due to persecution or loss of rights.

Our Programs

Family Support
Providing humanitarian support to refugees arriving in Cairo, as well as a broad program for youth and children

Capacity & Livelihoods
Helping refugees become self-sufficient through skills training, job placements, and adult education services

Medical Services
5 primary care clinics across Cairo, plus the Well Baby and Well Child Clinics, and a program of health education

Volunteering with Refuge Egypt is an enriching experience for both the volunteer and for us. Whatever your expertise, we welcome your time and talents and learn alongside us. Those with language teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
