The children go to a local Thai school 5 days a week and so we look for volunteers with skills outside of the normal classroom experience, and in particular practical skills. Skills such as carpentry, weaving, painting/drawing, electrical work etc… which can be of great benefit to the children. Please note that we have had a huge response from volunteers wishing to spend time at the orphanage over the last few months. The vast majority have left a very positive impression, but a small minority have possibly underestimated the simple life and accommodation at the orphanage. This can unfortunately end up being a bit more of a burden than a positive influence.

We ask that volunteers are able to commit to approximately 1-2 weeks and that they cover expenses such as travel and food.

Basic accommodation is provided for at the orphanage for all volunteers and includes sleeping mat, blankets, mosquito net etc…
