We are based in the small fishing village of Vliho on the Southern Ionian island of Lefkada. Our location is perfect, allowing easy access to the beautiful harbours and bays of the South Ionian. Sailing jobs here are highly sought after and it’s easy to understand why.
Sail Ionian differs from many flotilla company competitors by catering for the higher end of the bareboat, RYA training and skippered charter market. As a British owned and managed Greek company we pride ourselves on delivering specialised sailing holidays and training with the highest levels of customer service.
Yachts
The sailing fleet is gradually expanding and will reach 42 charter yachts next year. The yachts range in size from 32 – 56 feet. Sail Ionian is a Bavaria yacht dealer and our fleet is comprised of new yachts making your sailing job as enjoyable as possible. As the fleet size grows our charter markets must follow suit and obviously this calls for more professional skippers and more experienced engineering & domestics team.

We plan to expand further into Europe and worldwide rather than focusing solely on the British market. We can see great potential for growth in these areas. How Long is the Season
A sailing job with Sail Ionian varies in interest and content throughout the season. Our season runs from mid April until the end of October. Both full time and seasonal vacancies are on offer and the employment packages are tailored to suit. Candidates applying for full time contracts will benefit from lengthy holidays but all employees will enjoy a relaxed & professional work environment. When valued clients are on holiday, our team work tirelessly to ensure they have an unforgettable experience, while the winter staff ensure the yachts always look immaculate and work perfectly.
