Sanjyot (“Sanjyot” which refers to “Light of Happiness” in Sanskrit) Foundation’s objectives are to engage in several charitable projects including setting up and running of an orphanage, adoption of villages in India as well as other appropriate projects with the sole intention to provide a safe, secure and nourishing environment for the poor.

Volunteer at our orphanage home and teach conversational English.
Experience the unique culture of a typical village in India. This is a very good opportunity for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of poor children as well as experience the culture of India.
We would like to invite volunteers who meet the following criteria:
a. Must be 18+ years
b. Must be willing to teach conversational English both at the orphanage home and the attached public school.
c. Must be passionate to work with young kids – 6 years to 11 years.
d. Minimum of 2 weeks
A nominal fee of $250 per week to cover accommodation, food, airport pickup and drop off, local sightseeing and the tour of Bangalore city, is expected to be contributed to the orphanage.
