Skyros was established in 1979 on the Greek island of Skyros where it still runs its primary holiday centres based respectively in Skyros village on the east coast of the island and in Atsitsa on the west. The holidays in Skyros start usually early in June and end in middle September. From then on there are week-long or ten days-long holiday breaks in Marrakesh, Venice, Havana, Thailand and for the first time this year Trinidad.
The city breaks – Venice, Marrakesh, Copenhagen and Havana – explore particular themes in tune with the local culture. In Thailand and Trinidad they are beach holidays with a particular focus – this year personal development and writing in Trinidad and yoga and mindfulness in Thailand.
The Grange, in the east coast of the Isle of Wight, runs weekend holiday courses from September to June. During the same period it also functions on a B & B basis as it does in the rest of the year.
You can stretch the body in a yoga class, try some windsurfing, abseil, learn to dance to the rhythms of salsa, create your own artistic masterpiece, start the novel you have been thinking about, join a comedy-improvisation event, sing your favourite songs or take a look at what you really need in life.
