Today, Soccer Academy’s programs reach out to some 5,000 players each year. From four-year olds just learning the game, to 14-year-olds dreaming of playing for the U.S. National Team, to 18-year olds preparing for a college career, players of all abilities can benefit from a Soccer Academy program.

Soccer Academy also has gained a strong reputation as a reputable resource for club and league administration and development. Over the years, Soccer Academy has consulted with dozens of clubs, advising them on how to implement player and coach development programs, how to run a tournament, how best to register players, among others.

Coaches and Counselors-Summer 2011

Soccer Academy is currently accepting resumes (CV's) for coaching and counselor positions for our summer camp 2011 programs. The programs commence June 13th and run for a ten-week period ending August 26th. There is no requirement to work the entire period. Also, Soccer Academy offers a limited number of positions for individuals to stay on a nine-month visa starting on the first of April till the end of November.

Coaches should have a National Coaching License and experience working with boys and girls from ages 5-18. The ability to work with a wide range of players is important, as Soccer Academy offers a range of innovative, state of the art programs that meet the needs of all ages and levels of players. Coaches should have a good playing background, as you will be required to demonstrate to a high standard.

Counselors are required for our summer camp programs to help with stores, equipment, playing demonstrations and assist with coaching. Applicants should have a strong playing background and ambition to play at higher levels. A cheerful, outgoing personality is a must.

Dorm Supervisors are required to monitor the players when they are not playing soccer. Applicants need to be exceptionally responsible and able to manage children under a variety of situations. Knowledge of the treatments for minor illness and injury is a plus.
