Summit Camp is a traditional camp program in Honesdale, Pennsylania that is for youth with AD/HD, Asperger's, and Learning Differences. Our kids are quirky, fun, and need a little extra help from their counselors to navigate the complex social world that they live in! We do everything from go-karting to high ropes, and with 200+ staff, we need a lot of talented people to join us every summer. We are 46 years strong and accredited by the ACA. Our program runs in a 3 session format - 3 week, 2 week, and 3 week programs. Some kids do more than one session, also! Kids live in bunks of 8 campers and 3 staff live in each bunk. The program includes all types of activities to provide our youth with diverse exposure. This means arts, drama, sports, cooking, high/low ropes, waterfront, and so on. The day is busy and the kids are in need of help developing age appropriate social skills, impulse control, and emotional regulation.
