The Hospital, with a capacity of 167 beds will serve all sections of the society, with 50% earmarked for free treatment for the underprivileged sections. An accommodation facility is being built within 500 meters of the hospital that will provide shelter to out station patients and its attendants during their course of treatment for free or at a highly subsidised rate.

The institution's objective is to excel in service, education, research and patient care. The centre aims to be one of the leading cancer care and research institutions in the country and will benefit the eastern region of India as well as the adjoining states and neighbouring countries. This institution is being setup at Newtown in the Rajarhat area of Kolkata on 13 acres of land and is designed by Cannon Design, USA.

Facilities that we will provide international volunteers:

  • A small allowance will be given to international volunteers

TMC will reimburse 50% of an economy class international airfare on completion of the six-weeks tenure with TMC.
