We run childrens courses too so parents can either dive themselves or have a break from them for a while. We also assist people with work permits and visas which are essential in Thailand. We then get them started as scuba instructors getting them experience and making sure all the support needed is there for them as they set out on a new career.
The open water course we offer is a worldwide accepted scuba diving license. This allows you to go diving all over the world to a depth of 18 meters. We also offer advanced courses, rescue diver and divemaster and beyond. The other great course we teach is the emergacy first response course. This is a forst aid course and CPR thats needed for the rescue course but its globally reconised First Aid qualification. This is highly valued in all companies as it certifies you as as forst aider and in real life it means you could save peoples lives.
We also run liveabaords all year. During the Open season we go to the Similan Islands, Surin islands and the world famous Richelieu Rock and then also on into the Burma Banks. We also run trip in Green season to Phi Phi islands and to Racha Noi and Racha Yai too.
Plus we run 3 dive day trips 365 days a year to all the popular destinations such as Phi Phi, Shark point, King Cruiser plus many more.
We also assist people with work permits and visas which are essential in Thailand. We then get them started as scuba instructors. Once they have the workpermit and visa we then give them paid work unlike many internships on the island.
Most centers try to keep people in "training" as long as possible by after becoming instructors then getting them to become master scuba diver trainers. This is something the instructors can sign off themselves as they go along. The reason that many dive centers do this is so they can hold onto a qualified instructor with no work permit and only a student visa and get them "work experience" or getting them to teach their customers without having to pay them as they are still students.
We believe that after all the expense the student has gone through and all the traininng they have had they are ready to work. If they still need more training then all the training they have had till now was not good enough. We believe that the training should be the best from the start and not just the minimum to pass. So once you have the license to say you are an open water scuba instructor then that is what you are. You are no longer a trainee and you as good if not better than many others. The next step is real work under the eye of someone who has all ready done it all and succeeded to offer real advice and help.
We also take part in reef cleaning and other organized events to protect the reef and areas we all love.
