The Address Akakura

We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, detail-oriented people to join our professional team in providing exceptional hospitality and service for all our guests.

The Address Akakura is situated in the heart of Akakura. Literally in the middle of the main street. The hotel is located 150m from the main chair lift and 700m from the Akakura Kanko Ski Resort. There are 4 ski rental shops within 20 meters of our front door. We have an onsite heated ski and snowboard room and are able to assist with arranging private guides and back country tours. Please speak to reception on arrival for more information.

Barista
The Akakura Café is a happy, vibrant and friendly workplace and the individual we are looking for will thrive in this environment. They will create a welcoming, relaxed, and quality experience for guests and customers. The Akakura Café has a reputation for producing the best coffee in town and offers breakfast, lunch, healthy alternatives and health conscious options. This season the café will operate as a Wine & Scotch bar by night.

Is highly motivated, experienced and potentially has cross over skills in Bartending.

Bartender
The Address Akakrua Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest experience for our Wine & Scotch bar in The Akakura Café. The Akakura Café is a happy, vibrant and friendly workplace and the individual we are looking for will thrive in this environment. They will create a welcoming, relaxed, and quality experience for guests and customers.

Chef
The Akakura Café is looking for a seasoned chef to run and operate the café kitchen.The café has a reputation for producing the best coffee in town and offers high quality breakfast, lunch, healthy alternatives and health conscious options.

Is committed to exceptional quality and food preparation
Has knowledge of common food allergies and appropriate alternatives

Kitchen Hand
The Akakura Café is looking for an experienced kitchenhand to support the chef with the operation of the café kitchen, food preparation, cleaning and sanitation.

Housekeeping
The Address Akakura is a 4-star hotel with 12 hotel apartment style rooms, café, restaurant and onsite onsens. We are committed to providing high quality, unique accommodation and facilities to our guests with a dedication to exceptional hospitality and service. We are looking for experienced and dependable cleaning staff to join our team.

Driver
The Address Akakura is looking for a qualified and experienced hotel driver who will assist with the transportation of guests to and from the local train station, ski resorts and supermarkets. The role also includes many day to day duties associated with running the hotel including snow clearing and staff transport where needed.

Has a highly professional attitude, is hardworking and reliable.
Is well presented, friendly and extremely responsible.
Has experience with driving passenger vehicles in the snow and has a valid Japanese or International drivers license.
Works well on their own and in a team environment.

All Applicants Must:

Be eligible for a Working Visa in Japan (under 30 years old)
Have experience and qualifications in the role they are applying for
Have experience in the hospitality industry
Commit to the full season late December – mid-March
Have a great work ethic, be friendly and a team player
Be someone who takes the initiative, is creative and resourceful and takes pride in their work.
