We are looking for enthusiastic Camp Leaders, Tribe Leaders, Chefs, Estate Managers and Estate Logistic Assistants to help us run residential school trips, at 6 woodland centres across the UK. Please take a look at our roles below, and apply online. We provide full training so no experience is required. We are however passionate about recruiting people with a genuine interest in inspiring children, and who will always go the extra mile to make their trip a success.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with children, as well as a love of the outdoors. Applicants should be looking to progress in the outdoor education industry. The role involves the management of a team of Tribe Leaders and a Field Cook, as well as the day-to-day responsibilities of running a residential camp of up to 60 school children, ensuring that our high level of pastoral care is maintained and safeguarding their Health and Safety throughout their trip with us

This is a demanding but hugely rewarding role.

You do not necessarily need to come from an outdoor education background, or indeed a bushcraft background (we employ many ex-teachers but there is no typical ‘sort of person’), as you will complete extensive in-house training, and mentoring before you work on a course. However, you do need to want to be part of a team whose aim is not simply to give students a taste of adventure, but to inspire a lifetime of it.

The Bushcraft Company are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.  Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
