VIS-US 1 & 2 Renovation 2010 International work camp
Renovation of volunteer residence, community center and the office of VIS, which is at the final stage. Also helping the most needy local residents with their basic needs and with their buildings.
7 volunteers in each camp
July 3rd to July 16th ( Camp #1) and July 24th to Aug 6th (Camp #2) 2010
Accommodation will be in two rooms in our building.
This organization, which endevour to build meaningful world peace and cooperation, sponsors two camps in Philadelphia, PA. Philadelphia is the birthplace of the USA, which has more than 100 nationalities living peacefully and productively. The city has the largest inland port and the largest urban park in the world. Work will involve renovation of a building to house a community center, VIS office and future volunteers. Bring clothes for hard and dirty work in hot weather. Bring a sleeping bag, musical instrument and a desire for world peace. Camp # 2 is the seventh annual camp being held in memory of our friend and former patron Michael Riley.

We have partners around the world in different countries to host our volunteers from USA. We will be happy to arrange for you to attend international work camps in the countries of your choice.Please apply. International placement VIS, USA
Long Term Volunteer
We are looking for a long term volunteer to start volunteering from May 1st to 6 to 12 months, with a driving license, computer and office skill and to do renovation in our building. Dedication is an important quality to work with us.
