Participants worked in the heart of communities in Uganda, India and Jordan and gained a "hands on" experience of how charitable donations can really make a difference.
Each of our projects lasted for one to two weeks. They were community-driven and designed so that involvement created a legacy that helped local people to secure better futures.
Education was at the core of our program – volunteers learned about key development issues before they went, and returned home with a greater understanding of communities affected by disaster, conflict and poverty.
Volunteer contributions supported initiatives that gave local people an opportunity to help themselves.
