The Italian Academy, established in 1984 is specialized in language teaching and is fully recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education. It is situated in the city centre close to the archeological park and archeological museum, within easy reach of the main shopping streets of the city, the old town on the island of Ortigia and the outdoor solariums.

Our teaching method
Based on the communicative approach. Classes focus on developing the 4 language skills, with emphasis placed on interactive communication and an attentive analysis of each student’s needs. Topics covered in class are closely related to the rich program of activities.
