Do you want to work on Swedens largest film event? Working at Stockholm filmfestival means being part of an intensive culutre organisation with an broad network, in both swedish and international movie bransch. The one amplying should be easy going, flexible, and of course love film!
Except the festival in November we produce Stockholm Film festival Junior in April, outdoor cinema in August and several scholarships and talent programs for young filmmakers.
The organisation has 13 year around employes. In collabriation with three big public events, we employ about 10 - 50 people at time. During the festival there is more than 400 volunteers that comes to assist us, all working to make the best of the festival. Our office is located in central stockholm.
Volunteer

We offer positions in diffrent departments where you can develop as a person and get the opportunity to take part of the film world, both from the inside and outside. You don't want to miss this opportunity! Becoming part of an incredible team of film entusiats, aiming to make this festival the very best, with your help.
The festival takes place between the 8-19 of November, though some departments have tasks to do before that period. Being a volunteer at the Stockholm Film Festival means that you get to be at the center of events. If you give us your time and comittment, we will give you the opportunity to watch a lot of movies and get a unique perspective of the film world.
We offer our volunteers a volunteer pass. With the pass, you can see all the movies of the festival (as long as there are seats left), get to know lots of new people, and have a fun film festival experience.
Cinema
You staff the cinemas and our festival center at Kulturhuset and sell memberships and tickets. Suits someone who is helpful and meticulous. Experience of working as a cashier is preferable but not a requirement. If you want to watch a lot of movies you should choose the cinema department! Psst! Are you looking for more responsibility? Then there is the opportunity to become a cinema manager. In that case experience in work management is meritorious.
EventEVENT
You are participating in the festival's events and parties, helping with decor and supplies, ensuring that there are always clean glasses and snacks on the tables. If you are social, representative and a star at giving service then this is the right department for you!
Traffic Department
Our drivers drive everything from guests to movies. We have the cars. You have a driving license, excellent driving skills and very good local knowledge of Stockholm. Suits someone who is punctual and professional.
Photographer
You document all our events. Your pictures will then be posted on our website and social media. Submit some examples of your work with your application.
Festival TV
You are used to and interested in television productions. Are you an audio technician, lighting technician or movie photographer, you're welcome to the festivalTV team!
