Montserrat is a lush, volcanic island in the Caribbean. Conservtiom work with the turtles is very important. the turtles have come from afar as Africa and travelled as far as the UK. We monitor them, check tags, tag turtles, collect eggs which are put into the hatchery and later released and do outreach for turtle conservation, advising the public via outreach on how to protect turtles.
