What is the Gap Year Program?

UNIR offers a special program tailored for young students who want to take a year off to enjoy a special experience in Spain. This program allows you to undertake a full English online MBA, while participating of an internship in a multinational company in Madrid. Additionally you will get a chance to enjoy some travel through the various study tours and company field trips scheduled throughout the year, which will enhance your network and knowledge of the country.

 

Who is this for?

We are looking for adventurous college graduate students, from ages 21 to 26, who would like to gain a deeper knowledge of the Spanish culture.

The selected candidates will be able to develop their skills through a paid internship as management trainees in one of our partner global companies in Madrid.

 

Work

In the morning, you will be a management trainee, exposed to the best practices from the real corporate world at one of these reputable companies:

Microsoft, Siemens, Thomson Reuters, Nestle, Johnson and Johnson, IBM, Ikea, L’Oréal, Heineken, PWC, EY, KPMG, Baker McKenzie, Nike

 

Study

In the afternoon, you will be a student of UNIR’s renowned online MBA program, an official title with recognition in the EU. UNIR’s MBA programs are ranked as the best in their area, according to PORTALMBA, MUNDOPOSGRADO, and FSO Ranking.

The contents and delivery of the program are in English, in a multicultural and international community of students and faculty.

UNIR’s MBA seeks to enrich the student’s global vision by providing knowledge in strategy, accounting and finance, marketing, sales, human resources, operations, and technology.

Students can also take optional Spanish courses, available online from UNIR.

Travel

In addition to the internship and MBA, UNIR has scheduled study tours and company field trips in eight different cities of Spain, to add to your cultural and professional experience.
