For our social project in South Africa we are looking for more volunteers to join and help creating a brighter future for underpriviledged children.
'Imama Community Centre' is a refuge for children and youngsters in the township Motherwell ', here they can play, learn and be creative every day alongside a warm meal. Up to 120 children take part in activities such as reading, crafts, sports, dance, theater & English and learn to believe in themselves! With our project we try to inspire children and young people, give them courage and self-confidence and stop them from crime and drugs. In addition, we work with the residents to promote the environment, sustainability and the well-being of the township: we beautify the area, recycle waste, paint the township together with children and artists, set up vegetable gardens and build playgrounds.
Our german non-profit organization UPLIFT eV involves in development aid and educational projects in the poorest areas of the world. From Germany we coordinate the volunteers. We also do round trips and travel packages, where people see the country and visit different amazing social projects.
